About

Coach Mello has over 38 years of experience in the fields of fitness, wellness and coaching in the United States and abroad. Mello has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and a Master’s Degree in Health and Physical Education with an emphasis in Adapted Physical Education and Sport Psychology from the University of Missouri. Since moving to the United States in 1987, coach Mello has worked with a variety of elite athletes, both nationally and internationally, from all levels and ages in the sports of swimming, cross country and track & field.

As a Fitness & Health consultant and personal trainer, Mello holds a very impressive client record. During a span of ten years Coach Mello has an amazing client retention rate of over 80%. His clientele have definitely benefited from his knowledge, love, belief and dedication to a healthy lifestyle that he feels is possible for everyone. His experience and knowledge allows him to create a personalized plan that is accommodating to any personal level and personal goals.

Multi-Sport

Do you want to run a 5K, sprint triathlon, 1/2 marathon, full marathon, half IronMan, or full IronMan? Having concerns how to fit all the needed training into your daily routine? By taking into consideration your ability, availability, family, and work demands, Coach Mello will use his over 25 years of training expertise to guide you to a positive, low stress and exciting outcome. Mello Fitness offers one-on-one coaching, video analysis, race strategy and mental preparation, strengthening and conditioning, and so much more.

His example of fitness has led my desire to work towards improved fitness for myself. As a runner he has aided in my strength training but also written and explained what better running plans would work for me. Thru injuries he has helped me keep up fitness and not get discouraged. He has led me to biking and swimming and even breaks when I needed them.

Cesar has been an encouragement to my children in their sports as well. He has written training programs for my daughter’s first half marathon and encourages her thru cross country.
